Learn about the key aspects of the process of applying for competitive RDI projects (main funding programme for RDI of the EU, Horizon 2020) in an international environment and with an innovative pedagogical approach.
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Deal with European projects goal setting, tasks planning and scheduling.
- Overcome management challenges.
- Learn to recognize funding opportunities.
- Manage resources both effectively and efficiently.
- Have sufficient understanding on how to deal with outputs and RRI principles.

PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who work in Catalan universities.
The number of places is limited to 25.
40 teaching hours of face-to-face sessions -UAB Campus- and 12.5 hours of online learning -UOC Virtual Campus-.
The course offers the option of a two-day stay in Brussels (scheduled for February 2018) to gain insights into the European institutions and establish close contacts with the professionals who are designing and managing the Horizon 2020 programme.
Face-to-face sessions and practical work will be conducted mainly in English.
This course is equivalent to 3 ECTS. The stay in Brussels and the completion of an assignment will allow students to obtain 1 additional credit.
The course has a total cost of € 830.
The stay in Brussels will have an additional average cost of €250-€300 (depending on the number of attendees).
